The Maison de la Famille de Saint-Léonard is committed to providing individualized educational support, artistic, and sports activities aimed at building self-confidence and fostering the autonomy of children.
To better meet your needs and be more accessible, we are delighted to announce the opening of a second room dedicated to Homework Help at the Pavilion of Parc Hébert, located at 7505 Boulevard Provencher, Saint-Léonard, QC H1S 2Y8, near Général Vanier Elementary School.
Registrations are ongoing on Amilia, or you can visit the Maison de La Famille de Saint-Léonard. The fall session will start on September 25, 2023, and end on December 15, 2023.
It also aims to provide training opportunities for parents, who are the primary educators in their children’s education. This training is intended to equip them with the skills needed to support their child throughout their academic journey.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
To meet the support needs of children aged 6 to 12 in completing their homework and lessons, the “MDFSL After School” project aims to offer homework help activities throughout the school year within the community, combined with sports and recreational activities. This initiative aims to promote the adoption of healthy lifestyles, cultivate a positive attitude towards school, and enhance the self-confidence of children.
The implementation of this project has been made possible in part thanks to the funding from Caisse Desjardins and the provision of a classroom by the St-Léonard Library.
